El cementerio / The graveyard

About five years ago, I began to create this small urban graveyard as an element of scenery for zombie and post-apocalyptic sci-fi wargames, in which the dead seem to start rising. A car, which its driver has been shoot to death, has broken into the graveyard by destroying the low wall that separates it from the street, just to stop right in front of a grave from which emerges a living dead.

Modelling:
Building this element of scenery has not been easy, and in fact I started building it five years ago having finished it now, after a long time abandoned. It's built on a foam-board base (also used for the wall), and the whole area of dirt and grass is on a layer of modeling paste, which gives a realistic relief to the terrain.
The car is a  die-cast Renault Fuego toy car in 1/43 scale, which was disassembled, painted, decorated  - including elements like bullets or the driver's corpse - and beaten, scratched and painted with dirt effects to create the visual sensation in the most realistic way possible.
Originally, the headlights of the car were functional, powered by LEDs installed behind, directly illuminating the living dead coming out of the ground. Wires hidden under the ground reach the burial corner, where the batteries and the switch are hidden.Unfortunately during the modeling process, the system was broken, so the lights no longer work.Texture of the sidewalk is a plate of pavement for railway modeling, and the tombs are of Warhammer fantasy, from a box of undead army. The decorations of the wall come from an old Chaos Rhino and the posters of the street side of the wall are printed.
